Once upon a time, i was walking to my new office in Bangalore. Suddenly a stranger came and ask me “where is the Strategic Bank”. He is a man in his late thirties, his eyes were sparkling and his face expressed ultimate calmness. I felt a sudden connect with this persons voice. I said “i am going to the same place and i can accompany you”. We walked more than a mile and exchanged different views. When we reached the new joiners reception area, we sat at different corners and said a shot Bye.

Due to hybrid nature of my work, i used to travel between my hometown and office. Whenever i am in office i sometimes think to call this guy and meet - just to socialize and connect. But could not due to nature of my work. One day i decided to call him directly when i am in office and asked him if he could find time to meet. His reply swept my feet- He said “Today is my last day and i am about to leave the campus, now waiting for the cab to pick me up”. I immediately locked the computer screen to see him. We exchanged views and thoughts, shared wishes for both of us and bid adieu.

I learned a very important lesson from this great soul. If things did not work, move on, the world is big. Despite all his commitments — an aged father, Treatment of children, Moderate savings- He silently showed to the world — The courage of an ordinary man who will never settle to sell his self esteem for worldly pleasures. It requires a mind of QUALITY to always strive to express the true SELF, remove the masks and LIVE against the wind and turbulence that life throws to us. I wish — all good where ever the man goes and spread the real light he carries within.
